Churchtown
Older village property at the north end of Southport, including some listed and traditionally-built stock where breathable materials matter and modern hard renders are the wrong answer. Plenty of period interiors with cornice worth restoring.
Hillside
A mix of substantial inter-war and post-war housing between Birkdale and Ainsdale, much of it with large gables and rendered elevations that are now on their second or third finish and due a proper strip and re-render.
Crosby
Terraced and semi-detached stock with a lot of solid-wall property and, near the front, some of the most weather-exposed elevations on this coast. Breathability and honest prep matter as much here as in central Southport.
Ormskirk
Inland market town property, from period cottages and town-centre housing to newer estates. Less salt exposure than the coast, so the work skews internal — skimming, dry lining, media walls and making good after alterations.
Banks
Village and semi-rural property out towards the marsh, including bungalows and converted agricultural buildings. Exposed, open aspect with very little shelter from wind-driven rain off the Ribble estuary.
